i supported my mom to get a divorce. so she did. I see my dad once or twice a year. its’fucking messed up. you have to ask yourself; ” do i want my mom to be happier, if that’s what she would be, and more stressed out because she’s going to be on her own, or do i want to keep my family together, and have my mother sacrifice the life she already chose to marry off. just talk to her about it.

how old are you? older kids, (past their youth) seem to deal with divorce better. a baby that’s fully grown can be born, and be healthy. A baby that’s born before its time almost always has issues. do you follow me?

While I do agree, divorce takes a terrible toll on many children.. I feel it is important to emphasize how many children are SAVED by divorce. By getting away from a horrible situation that has grown beyond what the parent can shield them from. Yes, while many children ache for their parents to get along.. there are a great many that ache for peace.

There are two sides to this coin. Life is messy and happy endings come in all shapes and sizes.
